I know that it has been a long time since we have posted, but things have been busy! We will be sharing some new posts soon, so keep an eye out! Also, please visit our Facebook Page!

Here are a few updates on previous posts:

From the last post (Cute puppy needs a home!): She was adopted and her new name is Wiggles. She is now best friends with a 3yr. old boy named Jackson and she has a new brother due any day now. Thank you to Beth Ann Webb who fostered Wiggles and to Chris, Stephanie, & Jackson for welcoming Wiggles into your family!!!

Update on Willie: His home in Connecticut fell through and he was adopted by, our own, Dr. Liz Lovett. Willie now has three furry brothers and is loving life! Thank You Liz!

This little girl is the best puppy! She is beautiful and good! She loves everyone and is doing fantastic with crate training! She is up-to-date on vaccines and all of her boosters and spay will be covered by the Maggie Mae Fund. Please let us know if you are interested!

THANK YOU to everyone who came to our yard sale and all the wonderful volunteers! It was so great of everyone to come out in that heat! The yard sale raised about $500 dollars for the Maggie Mae Fund. We adopted out two pets and only have three to more to go! We still have one kitten, one adult dog, and one puppy. Overall, it was a great day and we raised a lot of money for a great cause!

Charity yard sale on June 12, 2010 just off Hixson Pike, in the old Greenlife Grocery Store parking lot, next door to Riverview Animal Hospital (1306 Dorchester Rd. Chattanooga, TN 37405). The yard sale will benefit the Maggie Mae Fund, a charity fund for homeless animals that need urgent medical care. Any questions, email maggiemaefund@gmail.com or call 423-756-6011.

Our annual Maggie Mae Yard Sale to raise money for the Maggie Mae Fund will be June 12, 2010. The sale will be held in the old Greenlife Grocery parking lot, next door to Riverview Animal Hospital. This poor turtle was ran over by a lawn mower and Dr. Liz Lovett made her a new shell. She will have to be a pet for the next few years while her shell heals, then she will be released back into the wild. Good Job Liz!

This unbelievable awesome Labrador Retriever, "Willie," aka Mintzi is currently up for adoption with Amy-Z-Ark Rescue. We at Riverview have fallen in love with Willie and really want him to find a local forever home. Please contact Riverview Animal Hospital @ 423-756-6011 if you are interested. Willie is the best dog! He is well behaved, knows how to sit and lay down, rides in the car well, likes other dogs, small children, and cats. He is the total package! His picture does not do him justice! His eye removal was a success and he is healing wonderfully.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered for the yard sale and to everyone who attended! We raised around $1200 and adopted out three pets out of five. And a special THANKS to Tom & Susan Lloyd who hosted a wonderful cookout after the yard sale.

We are having our annual Maggie Mae Yard Sale on Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 8am-3pm. The yard sale will be at the old Greenlife Grocery Store (1100 Hixson Pike 37405). We need lots of good quality yard sale items to be donated for the sale, we need volunteers, and we need donations! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
